Most of you have probably heard by now, but in case you haven’t, we’ve got some bittersweet news to share — and it comes straight from the heart.
Old Town Public House has always been more than just a pub.
It’s been the place you came to shake off a rough day, to make friends you didn’t know you needed, and to hear the kind of music that makes a Wednesday feel like a Saturday. It’s where laughter bounces off the walls, where strangers become regulars, and where “one drink” often turns into closing down the night together.
This place has never just been about what’s on tap — it’s been about the people around the table. The stories told. The songs sung. The memories we’ve built one pint at a time.
Which is why this next part isn’t easy to say: OTPH will be closing its doors on January 11th as this block prepares for a new chapter.
Change is never easy. We get it.
These walls have seen so much — first dates, open mic breakthroughs, birthday toasts, and late-night heart-to-hearts that turned into lifelong friendships. But here’s the thing we want you to remember: with every ending comes the promise of a new beginning — new businesses, new stories, and new reasons for our community to gather right here in the heart of Old Town.
And while it’s hard to imagine these familiar walls coming down, we choose to see it as part of something bigger. We believe in the heartbeat of this place — not just the building, but the people who’ve filled it. The laughter, the music, the belonging. That’s the kind of magic you can’t demolish.
We’ll be honest — saying goodbye hits us deep (and not just the “had one too many IPAs” kind of way). We know a lot of you feel the same. But we’re holding both truths: we can honor what’s been and believe in what’s to come. Sometimes, the doors we’ve loved the most have to close to make room for new ones — and with them, new magic.
So what now?
Well… let’s just say we’ve got a few things brewing.
Over the next three months, we’re throwing the kind of goodbye party people will be talking about for years. Glasses will be raised, music will shake the walls, laughter will spill into the streets, and every story we’ve written together will get the send-off it deserves.
Be sure to Join our OTPH newsletter to make sure you don’t miss a single toast, tune, or story as we count down to our next chapter.
Because at the end of the day, this isn’t really goodbye. It’s just a “see you on the other side” — of whatever wild, wonderful thing comes next.
