Some nights at Old Town Public House just hit differently.
You know the kind—the music locks in, the crowd leans closer, and suddenly, everyone in the room realizes they’re part of something rare.
That was the scene the night Adam Wilson’s band, The Long Drive Home, took the stage. If you know Adam, you know he’s not just a phenomenal musician—he’s the heartbeat behind Learn Music, a local institution that’s been shaping the next generation of artists right here in our community. The man doesn’t just play music; he builds it, teaches it, and lives it.
That night’s lineup was something truly special. Adam’s sons took the stage with their band, joining a crew of other young talents who’ve grown up surrounded by the heartbeat of local music—a living testament to how deeply those Wilson roots run.

But the magic didn’t stop there.
Through the web of musical friendships woven among the kids and their families came a surprise connection to Jerry DePizzo, a musician for the nationally beloved band O.A.R. And in true OTPH fashion, Jerry didn’t just stop by—he jumped right in and played.
The moment he joined the band, the room shifted.
It wasn’t just a performance—it was a vibe. The kind of energy that feels unplanned but meant to be. Every note echoed what OTPH has always stood for: community, connection, and the simple joy of sharing a room full of people who love good music.
Those who were there knew.
It wasn’t an ordinary night—it was one of those “you had to be there” moments. The kind that reminds us why we do what we do.
The night ended the way the best ones do—on a high note, hearts full, ears ringing, smiles lingering on the long drive home.
